In the 19th century, a roadside inn called Samson was build opposite the entrance to the park.
The restaurant was especially popular. Alexander Dumas praised its cuisine in his memoirs. Pestle, Schwartz, Tolstoy and Grigorovitch came in here.
Today, long after, the Samsun hotel opens the door again to entertain the guests in the unique atmosphere, in the new building near the Grand Palace.
Today, the hotel can accommodate 155 guests in 59 rooms. The hotel has 3 single rooms, 32 double rooms including 3 rooms for disabled people, 14 rooms with an extra place, 3 semilux rooms, and 7 suit rooms.
